Here are a few Bar Tricks that are handy for enjoyment:3207008927_85165545e1

Bar Riddle: Take a penny, nickel, and a Dime and put them space out in a line on your hand. Go you to someone or your friends and say word for word, “John’s father has three son’s, penniless, nickeless, and…” have them try to figure out the riddle.

Answer: John.  But everyone will say Dimeless

Note: Point to the penny when you say penniless

Bar Lies: Only do this trick if you are beating on something, lets say a drink, or a kiss on the check, or a hug, or for a dance.  Tell someone they can not lie to you 5 times, but the way this game will go is I ask you a question and you answer it with a lie. For example, What color are your eyes, what is the name of the club/bar we are at now.

Now these are the 5 questions you will ask.

1. What color are your nails?

2. What color is your natural hair color?

3. What is the name of this place?

4. (You must act sincere with this one) How many questions was that?, while looking down and counting on your fingers. They will usually say 3, if the don’t you still have one more question to get them on. The answer you want is 3.

If 4 does not work 5. (Once again act surprised and sincere) OMG I can’t believe you beat me, so that will be a drink (or what ever your bet) on me… (Pause) Have you played this game before? and act surprised while asking.

It works on 2 types of people. Those who are nice, thus give you 3 subconciously or those who have an ego and want to know they beat you at your own game. The only one it does not work on is someone who is not nice and does not have an ego. Very hard to find because bitchy people have ego’s and egotistical people are bitchy.

Have fun and tell me how these work for you.

We will all be introduced to high energy, embaressing, or scarey moments were coming out on top is the best option.  This could be a speech in front of students, going your brothers bachelor’s party, or having to perform in front of family.  Unless you are competing you will know someone in the audience watching you: a classmate, a friend, or a family member.  You must use them as your calm source, the only way to pull yourself together before you go on stage.Calm Before the Storm

Stage frieght, the number one scariest thing for people to do.  This is worse than death for many people around the world. Do not feel like you are the only one who has pissed his pants before making a speech or performing in front of thousands, hundreds, or just 3.  Each time we put our bodies through a uncontrollable emotional state, a storm, an adreline rush we build our character and become stronger.  We have this in the past and know we were able to complete the needed task.  If it comes to life or death, knowing we have done it, you will hopefully chose life and perform again.

This post is supposed to help performance anxiety, through calming yourself before your storm.

First: Breathing.
The best way to physically calm your body is the lower your heart rate, and slow your blood flow. You want your body to relax, loosen your muscles so you will not sweat and get a heart attack before you say anything.  This will seem simple, but 3-10 long breathes last 5 seconds per breath, in for 5 and out for 5. Do this three to ten times to start the relaxation process.

Second: Imagery.
While you are breathing, you want to close your eyes and take yourself out of the place you are. Image a fun or comfortable place you know. I always pick me childhood bedroom, where I would always have the best dreams and wake up my puppy at the time.  The eyes and look on my puppies face always brought a smile to my face.  But take your mind out of the dark backstage, in front of the class room, or in the car about to go to a strip club, you will be put yourself someone else were there is no stress.

Third: Inner Storm.
This third part may seem con-intuitive but if you create your own energy and not have your energy forced on you be uncontrollable emotions you will not be nervous.  Before you performing after you have relaxed yourself you want to pump yourself up.  Do some jumping jacks, focus on exercise for a few minutes to get your blood pumping again.  If you control why your body is getting excited then you will not be nervous, you will be excited. Excited is much better than nervous.

Four: Eyes.
Walk out on stage open your eyes and begin immediately if you can.  You do not want your stage to freight you, you want to start as soon as you see them, and if possible begin as you come out so you won’t get syked out. If you can not start right away, before you speak close your eyes take 3 deep breaths and on the third began speaking and then open your eyes. You want to start what you are doing when you are calm.

Good Luck! Hope these tips help.

While reading for hours, listening to Mystery, and staying away from inhibitors I am in a better place to start future growth. Richard Branson, the billionaire of Virgin, never enjoyed taking drugs because he wanted his mind to be focused, clean, and controllable. He used adrenaline as a drug, cleaner, but at times riskier.

A question came up with my best friend: If you had $100,000,000 would you risk it all at a 20% chance to get $1,000,000,000? I quickly answered, it depends what I wanted for that future. This question was assuming the $100,000,000 was all I had. Losing my Virginity

I want to leave a legacy of Koppelman. I do not know how much money I will need today to make it happen, but I do know it will allow third world countries to better their political, economic, and social ways through developing their lowest classes, saving necessary wild-life, and advancing technology in business and agriculture. To relate what it maybe, I thought of a Green IMF. Green of course referring to the green revolution that is currently going on around the world. Although not all solutions will be around an eco-friendly problem, but to better the poor, is to clean up the streets and make a better life for many. To me, that is “Going Green”.

So if I have all I want and have the money but need that $1,000,000,000 I will risk it all because what I love will be to accomplish my life goal. The purpose of my existence, which as of now is this idea of the Green IMF. I say this now and this may change like Hue Hefner’s girlfriend, but I will always want to full fill something on an international level that will reach the minds and hearts of 1,000,000 people.

I just hope I do not make a speech in front of that many and have someone say you achieved your goal.

10 Steps to Interview with Confidence

Another trick to have, but this is life changing.  One personality strength that will dominate all others and people will have higher respect, people will lead if you follow, and you will be looked up to no matter how short you really are.

There are two parts to portraying confidence, one being presentation and two being the words and stories you present yourself with. There is the look and then the material. So what makes a confident look?

Sitting position and Standing position:

1. sit with your legs open, never cross over, figure 4 is acceptable. Let the chair become a part of yourself, lean back and open your arms around the entire chair.  You want use up your space.

2. Standing should be straight, no slouching, chest out, shoulder relaxed, and if it helps press your middle finger and your thumb together by your side to increase a confident pose (trade secret).  Finally, put a smile on.

Smiling is a huge part of confidence, because part of confidence is enjoying what you are doing no matter where you are.  It is not just speaking in front of a 1,000 people, it is a presence that you command in front of a few.

Now what to say:

1. Make your stories present yourself with a high value. What I mean is add value to who you are as a person. Do not say your friends take advantage of you, or my jerk friend did this (then why is he/she your friend).  Furthermore, create enthusiasm with your story, if you love what you are talking about make it known. “Get this, the most amazing thing happened to me yesterday, I was in an intense board meeting, I just love the pressure that builds under your skin and having to dead eye everyone in the room, when I went you to speak…” Act out what you are saying as best you can.

2. Do not lean into the person you are talking to, even if it is noisy. By leaning back and being relax you will ooze confidence because they will have to lean into you in order to hear what you are saying. This is part of power theory. You control the conversation by making them move towards you.

Try these tips out and see how it goes.

I will be making an instructional video on confidence and will post about it when it is out.

Cheers!
10 Steps To Interviewing With Confidence

So how would this be a development of oneself?
Simple, you have a trick to show while you are waiting for your food.  If the conversation is subsiding and you still want to hold interest with the family or friends you are eating with make a cool design with available materials.  At a restaurant there is always water, silverware, and napkins that are free. I will teach two types of napkins. The first is the Birds of Paradise:

1. Take the napkin and open it up completely and then fold half horizontally and then half vertically into a cube.

2. Fold in half in a diagonal with point facing up.

3. Fold left an right sides down along the center line, making the extended points underneath.

4. Fold extended points of bottom corners underneath and fold in half on long end.

5. Pull up fabric to arrange it on the surface, like scales.

Next is the Bunny: Thanks to Miliken Naper

1. Fold napkin in fourths, length-wise

2. Fold up right and left sides to meet in center.

3.  Fold down top right and left corners to meet in center4. Fold in right and left sides to meet center, press lightly

5. Turn napkin over

6. Fold up bottom point, so point is 1″ above center

7. Carefully turn napkin over

8. Fold left side over slightly past center

9. Turn napkin over and open base, separate ears and stand upright.

Enjoy the napkin tricks, I hope they help you as much as they have helped me
