The number one blog in the world is based upon personal improvement. Not surprising when you know people make millions writing books on how to calm your sole, develop your mind, and achieve greatness. Yet, I am not here to write about promises that if you follow my steps you will be a better you. However, I have seen the success of learning in niche markets to make me more interesting. What I mean is taking the Tim Ferris approach and doing what you want and becoming an expert in the field. For example, I want to build value when talking to people, thus I picked up the book Your Personality in Handwriting by Lyn Brook for the sole purpose to have an ability to analysis someone through handwriting. Seemed like a cool trick to have up my sleeve. Who knows who I will be able to impress whe I am out with friends or at the bar. Furthermore, I am learning ASl (American Sign Language) to build more value for myself. The next few posts will be geared toward my learnings in the fields of interesting personal development skills.
So lets start of with a little introduction in graphology – the study of handwriting to diagnose personality traits – a science that has been taught for over hundreds of years and proven itself to millions of clients. Instead of going to theorpy just write down a few sentences and send it to a graphologist for review. But, here is a little of what I have picked up. The importance understand legibility:
Legibility and Illegibility
· Clean writing shows interested in detail; work is done in a methodical manner. Never impulsive and proceeds with care.
· Watch for freedom, and the periods or i’s dots as circles shows beauty, grace, and self-confident.
· Cursive and print – shows constructed mind, resourcefulness in the tackling of ideas.
· Large fonts shows sociability, such as a secretary who meets lots of people yet takes work careful with detail.
· Illegal used by the Diplomat, one who only wants to tell people what they need to know. Reserved, found with the tapering of the letters.
· Over abundant use of punctuation indicates a vivid imagination. Not easy to understand but usually most interesting to others.
Before you take this information to heart, there is no one part of someone hand writing that can prove everything about them, there are many variables to take place, but these are indications. Try them on friends and see how accurate you are.
Thanks for mentioning some points of interest, I will be working on it next week
